look everyone! it's Jersey from Hey Monday. How do i know that's Jersey? because i was standing 1 meter away from him when i took this.
i went to the Fall Out boy concert on sunday night. Wasn't expecting to go as my friend and i couldnt get tickets. but 3 hours before the concert started we decided to try and get some, and well, success! we didnt expect to be right at the front. but hey presto, when we arrived i saw a friend at the front of the line, so we cut in with her.

we were mainly there to see Hey Monday, as we saw Fall Out Boy the last time they came to Perth. i can tell you now. Hey Monday did not disappoint. it was crazy. cant wait for them to come back. after Hey Monday's set, was The All American Rejects. The music was good. their performance was good. their lead singer tripped over and almost hit his head on the drum platform, he was wasted.
Fall Out Boy were next. when the stage guys pulled the curtain at the back of the stage down to reveal the Fall Out Boy banner, the screaming was crazy, and you could pretty much feel the adrenaline pumping through everyone, and Fall Out Boy didnt disappoint either. They were amazing. must have been 1 meter away from pete and joe at least 5 times. so that was sweet.
i didnt get any photos though because my camera died after Hey Monday's set.

the parents weren't too happy about this, because APPARENTLY the back of the T.V remote is not ment to be used as a canvas.

tonight the sky was on fire and i didnt capture it. disappointed.

the thing about going to a place that specializes in art is that you come across random information that you have been searching for. like for instance, where to by ironlak paint, and the place to get it from just so happens to be DOWN THE ROAD from said art place that i go to. Excited, yes i am.
maybe its a good thing i dont have any money, because if i did im pretty sure i would spend it on this paint.

im surprised at how this one turned out. i love how these things just turn out with no editing required.
i feel as if im in another world when i look at this.

i have an idea. what if we collected all the water that is currently flooding QLD and transport it to Victoria to extinguish the fires. Sounds like a plan?

did some experimenting with some impasto the other day, just so i can get an idea on how i could use it when i go to do the painting for my friends present
